EA accidentally leaks the personal information of thousands of FIFA 20 players - adamshicamen

A glitch on the FIFA 20 Orbicular Series registration page uncovered thousands of players' face-to-face information, and Electronic Arts has taken set the site while it investigates what caused the breach (via Dexerto).

Yesterday, EA began registrations for this season's FIFA World-wide Serial, the competitive side to the game that lets players qualify for the FIFA eWorld Cupful. The registration link was supplied to players but it appeared that something had gone wrong with the subscribe up. When loaded, the page would show the registration info of new FIFA 20 players instead of blank fields. Atomic number 3 much, the personal information of thousands of FIFA players, pros and streamers were visible, and people were unsure how many people had seen the details and whether they had been shared wide.

Usernames, nation of residence, email addresses and dates of giving birth were shown to players, and the community were quick to alert others to the leak. Pros and influencers so much as Yani Ourabah, Joey Calabro, and Kurt Fenech were studied, with Fenech voicing his upset at the leak of his personal information.

'We're mindful of a potential issue affecting the registration page for the EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Worldwide Series that went live earlier today,' Ea aforesaid. The page has been removed while EA investigates the fault that caused the breach, and will relay information to affected parties equally soon as possible.
